Recording Python so agents can read it
What a time-travel debugger gives a coding agent
Live values and time-travel debugging for Python. That's Pyokka: a VS Code extension, a browser interface, a CLI and an MCP server that let people and agents inspect recorded execution, or pause a program and investigate together.
Why recordings beat guesses
When an agent reads code it sees the program you wrote, not the one that ran. A recording closes that gap. The agent can ask what a value was at a given line instead of inferring it from the source.

Four ways in
- A VS Code extension that shows recorded values inline.
- A browser interface.
- A CLI.
- An MCP server, so agents get the same view people do.
